The Lascaux Artist Residency, which took place from July 7 to 12, 2025, was born from the close collaboration between Moveria (formerly Bobine) and the Domaine de Lascaux, a site dedicated to cultural hosting and transmission.
In Dordogne, set in an exceptional natural environment atop the hill of Lascaux and just steps from the famous namesake cave, this first edition aimed to support Moveria’s artists in developing their projects while also raising their awareness of both research and the specific challenges of pre-production.
This residency offered a rich and diverse program, featuring several workshops led by numerous professionals from varied backgrounds. These sessions contributed to the refinement of narrative and directorial approaches specific to each artist’s project.
