The Moveria Project

Founded in Paris in 2025, Moveria is an independent production, international distribution, and mediation company born from the collaboration between two developers from the new technologies sector, Arnaud Schoenher and Tristan de Oliveira, and two young graduates from the cultural and artistic fields, Ceskary Avitia and Isotta Tassoni. By combining tailor-made digital tools—including modeling, automation, and optimization—with the traditional frameworks of film production and distribution, Moveria is built around a transdisciplinary approach. It offers a vision of cinema grounded in dialogue between diverse fields and contrasting practices, giving rise to new creative experiences as well as fresh perspectives and narratives on the worlds that surround us. Today, Moveria is expanding its international sales activities with the arrival of Yasmin Porangaba, strengthening its team and affirming its ambitions on a global scale.

Our goals

For us, cinema is a space for collective and personal exploration alike—a place where ideas take form, sensibilities intersect, and meaning emerges through diverse narratives. Our approach draws on the legacy of movements that have made cinema a free, intimate, social, and political act.

We view creation as a collaborative process and believe that production is not limited to fundraising alone; it must also foster a space of trust, built around support tailored to the artists and their projects.

We believe that integrating new technologies and knowledge from the field of software development can offer new experiences, both in artistic creation and in supporting artists.

We aim to explore contemporary practices while drawing on traditional expertise, carefully documenting artistic methods, creative processes, and the questions surrounding the conception of a work and its material production.

We support a diverse cinema and are open to fiction, documentary, and experimental projects, as well as hybrid works that play with and reinterpret classical cinematic forms—distorting them, reshaping them, and, above all, reinventing them by redefining the boundaries between genres and experiences.

Accessibility is at the heart of our concerns. We strive to diversify and expand the modes and platforms for distribution and mediation—cinemas, public spaces, museums, film clubs, and discussion events. Ensuring the transmission of cinema and making it accessible to diverse audiences are central to our mission.

Creating today also means creating consciously: reducing our carbon footprint, prioritizing sustainable transport, local shoots, and responsible, minimalist productions. Our creative freedom is exercised in a balance between artistic rigor, human solidarity, and respect for all living beings.

We align ourselves with political cinema and advocate for a film practice rooted in collective engagement, drawing strength from collaboration and the recognition of the full spectrum of those who contribute to it: artists, technicians, exhibitors, researchers, and audiences. For us, cinema must be reimagined collectively.
